Billed as the most significant new equestrian lifestyle destination in the world, Tryon Equestrian Partners, unveiled plans for a multi-million dollar project Wednesday morning.

Just four miles across the Rutherford County line into Polk County on Pea Ridge Road, Tryon Resort is the site of a sprawling $100 million equestrian center and resort that will open later this summer with its first events in July.

Managing partner, Mark Bellissimo, welcomed partners, supporters, political leaders from Rutherford and Polk counties and state leaders to the ground-breaking ceremony.
